Catamarans a.k.a. Cats

Catamarans (cats) are very popular and offer a lot more room for everyone. Cats provide a better stability, heeling (angle) when sailing is minimal. They do cost a little more for the guests ($1800/person and up), but in comparison, a 42’ Cat has about the same room as a 52’ Monohull. We usually sail 39’, 46’ and 58’ Sailing Catamarans. Cats are a bit faster when sailing and offer more privacy for guests since sleeping accommodations, heads and showers are separate in each hull and in opposite corners. As always, cats come with dinghy (small, inflatable boat) that we use for getting ashore and back. Did I mention that you can spend a night sleeping on mesh trampolines with water right below you?
