Sun Protection Tips

Tip of the day: Sun Protection! Tropical sun is hot, especially on pale bodies that have been kept undercover throughout a northern winter. The constant trade breezes keep the temperature almost ideal on the islands, but be careful not to spend too long outside. Combined effect of the tropical sun and reflection from sails and water can cause severe sunburns! All the yachts that we use have a bimini tops, but it's a good ideal to bring along a pair of lightweight pants and tops. Wide-brimmed hat can be a great idea as well. Lotions are available everywhere on the islands. We also recommend using a sun block at least SPF-15 and keep the skin moisturized with Aloe Vera Gel.
